Walls of Shame

Instead of walls made of brick and stone

new walls keep being erected but they are not ideological or racist in tone..

we see them everyday but they don't have a standard form.

We dream to be on the other side of while browsing through our smart phones

new walls of shame that most politicians are coward to confront.

When riches from special interests are paid upfront.

They say it's a landslide victory and the haters are stunned

Walls constructed by material stronger than black granite

constructed by the shameless individuals who profit from destroying their own plannet.

The Shameful walls that divides us from the ones who make rules for a society that they are disconnected from,

they make decisions on welfare when they have never been poor,

they tease tax cuts for predictor, podophile corporations to make them drool

haven't they repeatedly gambled our futures for more swimming pools ?

haven't they completely white washed history in our schools?

meanwhile those who we elect can't even bring them up like an elephant sitting on a tiny bar stool.

Fool me once sir but still today we're the fools.

Off shore accounts full but minds and hearts empty

souls void of empathy, but luxury cars in the plenty

IMF loans humiliating and destroying entire nations

no wonder why my people don't feel fully independent in our own independence day celebrations

You wona take a walk by Walls which were erected by coward and selfish Politian's who manipulate the masses?

neglected them,

and whenever elections come around they back at it kissing our asses,

while we still pretend to believe them ? When they lie like a husband taking "improv" classes?

Our societies are more desperate for change like a blind man wearing reading glasses

it's not a democracy if there's no equity

but we will destroy shameful walls and regain human dignity .
